High Desert Keepers Logo
A logo I created for the High Desert Keepers, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the high desert trash free.
Logo Concept
Beginning my thought process for this logo design I was told that the logo should covey the idea of a trash trooper, which is what the workers of the High Desert Keepers are called. The logo needed to be fierce like a warrior, but friendly enough for children to enjoy as well.
With this in mind I created a desert tortoise in a spartan like pose holding a trash can lid as his shield, a picker pin as his spear, and a pith helmet as his headwear. The logo came out cartoonish enough for kids to enjoy, but strong enough to personify the passion the High Desert Keepers have to keeping the high desert clean!
Logo Versatility
I designed this logo so that it could be used universally on all merchandise. I made the regular colored logo for t-shirts as well as a black outline version that could be used for the workers on high visibility orange shirts. I also a horizontal variation of the logo that could be used for bumper stickers.
